September 2026 price concessions: 268 lines granted, up from 243

The Department of Health and Social Care granted 268 price concessions for September 2026. Community Pharmacy England's final update, published on 2 October 2026, states that it "takes the total number of price concessions granted by DHSC for September 2026 to 268". The same page for August 2026 gives a total of 243, so September ran 25 lines higher.
How the month was published
CPE published the September list in updates. The archive shows a first update on 16 September, further updates on 17, 18, 22, 24, 25 and 29 September, and the final update on 2 October. A line can therefore join the list late in the month, and the final total is only known once the last update is out.

What the final update added
The 2 October update lists 24 lines. Each carries its own strength and pack size on the CPE page.
Alendronic acid 70mg tablets, allopurinol 100mg and 300mg tablets, and amiodarone 200mg tablets are on it. So are several amoxicillin lines (125mg/5ml and 250mg/5ml oral suspensions, and 250mg and 500mg capsules), atomoxetine 10mg capsules, and famotidine 20mg and 40mg tablets.
The rest are flucloxacillin 250mg/5ml oral solution, mometasone 50 micrograms/dose nasal spray, promethazine hydrochloride 10mg and 25mg tablets, rivaroxaban 10mg tablets, ropinirole 2mg tablets, sotalol 40mg and 80mg tablets, venlafaxine 75mg modified release capsules, and vitamins A and D capsules BPC 1973.
